Helping You Get the Benefits You Deserve
If you are disabled, you need the help of an experienced attorney to get the benefits you deserve. At the law firm of Alan J. Nuta, Attorney at Law, I focus extensively on representing clients filing for Social Security Disability Insurance and Supplemental Security Income benefits, known as SSDI and SSI respectively.
I have many years of experience representing people seeking SSDI and SSI benefits, and I am a member of the National Organization of Social Security Claimants' Representatives and the American Association for Justice, Social Security Disability Section.

Get the benefits you deserve. To discuss your SSDI and SSI needs in a free initial consultation, call toll free 866-616-1713 today. I have locations in Gaithersburg and throughout Maryland to review denied claims and meet your needs.
Get in Touch With Me as Soon as Possible
To file a successful claim it is in your best interests to contact an experienced attorney as soon as possible. You will be required to fill out and submit important forms, which I can explain to you.
See me even before you file a claim, so you will know what you are doing when you are ready to file. The general rules with regard to a Social Security disability claim are:
(a) a person cannot receive benefits in a Supplemental Security Income (SSI) case prior to their filing date even if he or she was disabled prior to the filing date, and
(b) a person cannot receive benefits in a Social Security disability (SSDI) case prior to one year preceding their filing date even if he or she was disabled prior to one year before the filing date.
With regard to VA disability claims, the general rule is that the veteran cannot get benefits prior to his or her filing date even if he or she was disabled prior to the filing date. Therefore, you have everything to gain and nothing to lose by filing as soon as you are eligible to do so.
Also, because you will not have to pay a fee unless you are awarded benefits, it will cost you absolutely nothing to meet with me for a free initial consultation. See me first — there is no advantage to waiting until after your claim has been denied.
